Located in Downtown Dubai, Old Town is the only low-rise apartment complex in the area. It is developed by Emaar Properties – one of the premier developers in the region. The term ‘Old’ refers to the architectural style in which this region was built. The development takes many architectural cues from the original Al Bastakia neighbourhood of Bur Dubai.
Earthy tones and materials are used to recreate the gypsum, clay or sarjool plastering used in the early twentieth century, which contrasts with the dramatic towers of the surrounding Downtown Dubai community and Burj Khalifa.
