Discovery Gardens is a six kilometre long residential district situated in Jebel Ali between Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road. Master Developer of Discovery Gardens is Nakheel. The development was completed in 2008 and was one of the first 'newer' apartment communities to be built on the edge of Dubai.The district contains more than 26,000 ‘affordable’ studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Its close proximity to some of Dubai’s major business and economic centres, including Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Metal and Commodities Centre and Ibn Battuta Mall, make it ideally located for business and leisure.Discovery Gardens consists of low rise apartment blocks all surrounded by well established gardens and community areas.

ROAD ACCESS:
Discovery Gardens is located at a new interchange on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, between Interchanges 5 and 6 providing easy access to Emirates Road, Jebel Ali and the Dubai Metro.Traffic congestion is a persistent headache at Discovery Gardens with too many drivers and too few exit roads. However, in the event of a clear run, Dubai Marina and the beaches can be reached in 15 minutes, the Jebel Ali Free Zone in 25, Downtown in 30 and the International Airport in 40 minutes.
