If Pentominium is ever finished, it will stand at a height of 516 meters, making it among the tallest residential skyscrapers in the world.

The structure, created by Dr. Andrew Bromberg of Aedas Architects, features two distinct sides centered around a common core. A series of balconies and a vertical layer of glass that reduces solar gain make up the majority of the southern flank. As it gets wider toward the top of the structure, the glass serves as a wind-break, shielding the balconies from higher-velocity winds.

Apartments and sky gardens alternate on the northern flank, forming a dizzying shape.

Above 400 meters, amenities such as a sky lounge, business center, cigar lounge, sky pool, and observation deck are offered.

Although completion was scheduled for 2015, the project was shelved in 2011 when the structure, which rose 516 meters, reached level 24.
