Within the larger district of Deira Dubai, Hor Al Anz is a subcommunity. Four major roads encircle its border: Baghdad Street D95, Al Ittihad Road E11, Al Rasheed Road D82, and Abu Baker Al Siddique Road D82. Hor Al Anz East and the main Hor Al Anz, which are both located closer to Dubai Hospital, further split the neighbourhood (more towards the E11 route leading to the emirate of Sharjah).
