Al Awir:

On the fringes of Dubai, there is a neighbourhood called Al Awir or Al Aweer. It is renowned for its wholesale market for produce. Al Awir is close to Ras Al Khor, Al Khawaneej, Al Warqaa, and Al Warsan and is situated next to Emirates Road (E611). The development is still close to Academic City, Dubai International City, and Dubai Silicon Oasis while being far from Dubai's major regions (DSO).
